Mission:

Specialized classroom and lab experiences are utilized to enable the student to become proficient in the use of a variety of beauty treatments, including the care and beautification of the hair, complexion, and hands.

Description:

Instruction includes: giving shampoos, rinses, scalp treatments, hair styling, cutting, coloring, foiling, highlights, lightening, permanent waves, chemical relaxers, facials, manicures/pedicures, safety, bacteriology, hygiene, sanitation, customer relations, salon management, record keeping, Florida Cosmetology law, and employability skills. Time required for completion of the preparatory program is determined by state licensing regulations.

Cosmetology Services Price List

We open at 8:30 am and take chemical services (perms, etc.) first.

Non-chemical services (haircuts, etc.) start at 9:00 am.
The last start time for these services are:
Simple haircut - 11:00 am
Pedicure Only - 10:30 am
Manicure and Pedicure - 10:00 am
Shampoo/Set or Blow-Dry Style - 10:30 am

Unique Requirements:

All High School students must have a parent/guardian present with them at the orientation.

Completion time depends on the progress of the individual.  The typical length of this program for the average achieving student is 1200 hours.

  • Grooming and Salon Services (CORE)
  • Hairdresser and Cosmetologist
