Mission:
Our mission is to ensure all learners acquire the skills, knowledge and
attitudes necessary to succeed in the electrical field.
Description:
This program focuses on broad, transferable skills, stresses
the understanding of all aspects of the electricity industry, demonstrates such
elements of the industry as planning, management, finance, technical and
products skills, underlying principles of technology, labor issues, community
issues, and health, safety, and environmental issues.
Unique Requirements:
The State of Florida requires students to meet a basic skills requirement
prior to program completion. The basic skills grade levels for this
program are:
Mathematics 9.0, Language 9.0 and Reading 9.0
Job Wages:
Local employers have verified that the range of wages that can be reasonably
expected by students who enter this field upon completion of the program is:
From $18,720 annually to $37,440 annually
