Massage Therapy

Mission:

The mission of this program is to provide instruction both in the classroom and hands-on lab.  Hands-on labs will allow students to practice massage techniques.

Description:

Students will learn anatomy and physiology, massage theory and clinical practicum, statues, rules, history of massage, theory and practice of hydrotherapy, allied modalities, business of massage, AIDS/HIV education, and CPR training. (CPR card cost $7.70)

Monday May 14th, 2012 6-8pm
Monday June 11th, 2012 6-8pm

Mandatory Orientation (for individuals that have completed Information Session and Enrollment Process):
Monday June 25th, 2012 6-8pm

NOTE: As always the “Information Session” must be attended and potential students must have the “Golden Ticket” to present to Student Services along with their TABE Test results/ $50.00 deposit.

All meetings will be held in Room 301

Completion time depends on the progress of the individual.  The typical length of this program for the average achieving student is 750 hours.
