Nail Specialty

Mission:
The mission of this program is to to enable the student to become proficient
in the use of a variety of nail applications including: acrylic sculptured nails
using form, applying wraps and gels, tips with overlays, fill-ins, removal of
artificial nails, nail art, manicures, and pedicures.
Description:
Specialized classroom and lab experiences are utilized to enable the student to
become proficient in the use of a variety of nail applications including:
acrylic sculptured nails using form, applying wraps and gels, tips with
overlays, fill-ins, removal of artificial nails, nail art, manicures, and
pedicures.
Related instruction includes safety, sanitation, bacteriology, customer
relations, Florida law, management, employability skills, and record keeping.
Unique Requirements:
Completion time depends on the progress of the individual. The typical
length of this program for the average achieving student is 240 hours.
