Career and Technical Education plays a critical role in improving and
growing the U.S. economy. Through secondary and post-secondary instructional
programs and continuing workforce training programs students prepare for
high-skill, high-demand and high-wage employment. WTI plays a significant
role in training adults to re-enter the workforce. As new industries develop
and businesses evolve, our CTE programs modify the curriculum and programs
to adapt to the changing needs of today’s world.
According to the Office of Vocational and Adult Education, nearly 75% of all
job openings through 2016 will require work-related training. It pays to
receive formal training in an post-secondary setting and earn an industry
certificate to demonstrate your knowledge and abilities.
